Fresh air is just as effective as caffeine

Only twenty minutes outdoors is needed tohave a greater pick-me-up effect than a cupful of caffeine, psychologists say.

Even if you don't do any physical activity, one can easily become more energized when going outdoors.

A bond between the human body and the natural world makes us 'feel more alive', psychology professor Richard Ryan said.

A state researcher of New York points out that: 'Nature is fuel for the soul. Often when we feel depleted we reach for a cup of coffee, but this suggests a better way to get energized is to connect with nature.'

Five experimentation's were done on over 500 different students who volunteered. They were exposed to an assortment of both active & passive set of circumstances both inside and out.

The conclusions that were drawn displayed an incredible increase in energy after only 20 min. of time outdoors, and they felt like that had more energy just by the thought of being exposed to fresh air.
